April was a good month for us. We had a lot of fun and had many great adventures! Now on to May.

After strawberry picking last week we went with family and friends to the beach. I can't get enough of this place.

I wish I could keep them this young forever. The place in their life where they are constantly exploring and experiencing new things. A place in their life where the earth is exciting and pure. Where the world is their oyster.

While in Champaign we ate well. We had a fun time on our mini- vacation.

Ran the Illinois half marathon today. I really like running races. There's such a fun energy to them. I ran with my friend Samantha. 

Our car was parked here when we left for the race. Obviously it was no longer there when we finished the race....Look at all of the signs telling us there was no parking...NOT! Obviously, we're fighting it. 

Josh drove 2 1/2 hours to meet me in Champaign after the race. Samantha drove back home but the family and I stayed another day and explored this cute town.

Forgot to post these from our California adventure. Grandma Cathy got the boys swim trunks and Olivia a bathing suit for Easter.

It was our dear little friend, Avenlea's, third birthday today! She had a party in the park and it was early enough in the day that we got to go before our afternoon flight! The boys had a blast. The party was perfect!

Strawberry Fields forever

Today we took the boys strawberry picking with their Aunt Emily and cousin Olivia. It was so much fun and the strawberries were yummo! Another reason # 23545252 to love Southern California.
