Although I didn't notice it at the time, I think his biggest changes came between 4 & 5 months old and 10 & 11 months old. love this kid!

So, I bought the wrong kit at the store the other day. I thought I was buying a caramel apple kit and instead I bought a candy apple kit. NOT the same thing. Needless to say, we ended up dipping two apples, throwing the rest of the NASTY syrup away, and then we didn't even eat the two apples. Woops! We'll try again next week.

birding

Apparently, the correct term for bird watching is birding. Ben & Josh went birding a couple of Saturdays ago at Cantigny. They had such a fun time. It started raining near the end but that didn't stop Benson from enjoying the Fall Festival that was also going on there.

rain

some days i wish it would rain forever--so we could dress like this all of the time. i was so excited yesterday when i saw it was raining--i couldn't wait to get the rain gear out. however, when we stepped outside and realized it was 70+ degrees, the rain gear was ditched. at least we got a few cute pictures first!
