Day two!!!

Today we went to church, and then we had a barbecue, talked to Tori in Africa (she's doing great, by the way), and then we went to Kirtland to visit Church History sites. Josh had never been there before so it was great!

Fun Weekend! DAY ONE!

We had a blast in Ohio this last weekend and here are the pictures to prove it :)

We went first to an open market and bought fruit, french bread & Havarti (of course!), pastries, etc. and just wandered and shopped. It was great! It reminded me of the open markets in Italy.

We ate lunch at this "Amish" restaurant. I don't know how Amish it was, but there were Amish people that worked there. The food was good too!

Josh was being funny on the drive. Cute boy! It was a super fun day!!! More to come...

Hola!

We are home again from our fantastic vacation to Ohio to visit family. It was such a great time!!! We did a million fun things and now we're going through withdrawals. It was such a great time....Pictures to come!

Update...

There isn't a whole lot to report, but Josh and I have been in Chicago for almost a week now and we're having a wonderful time! Josh is really enjoying his time at Kirkland & Ellis and he's working on a couple of really fun projects, so he's having a total blast. I've been kind-of hanging out this week and scrapbooking and putting together stuff for the landscaping at my parent's house. That's my big project this summer and I'm excited about it. Other than that, we're having fun. We're heading to Ohio this weekend for Memorial Day weekend to visit my sister and her family. We are totally excited!!!

Well, that's all that's new in our life. We're having a blast this summer! We feel so blessed with the amazing job opportunities Josh has had, and we feel very spoiled by our parents!!!

Ode to a brother...

Haha--Love the title of this post! It's my oldest brother's birthday today. I just thought it would be a good time to let him know how grateful I am for him and for all he has done for me. He's 13 years older than me, but he always worked at being close to me and my other siblings. He has been an amazing example to me in my life. He's always helped me to be the best me and has supported and loved me through everything. He just a wonderful person. I've been so lucky to have such great brothers and sisters. And today, I'm especially grateful for my oldest brother!

My 200th Post

So, we're in California enjoying our time here. We leave on Saturday to head back up to Utah and then we leave on Sunday to fly to Illinois. We're having such a great summer and are excited for more adventures in Illinois.

Tori's in Africa

My sister made it safely to Africa today! I am so excited for her and the summer she is going to have. I am proud of her for having the desire and ambition to make this trip possible. She'll be spending three months serving people in Uganda. She is going to be working in an area where no one speaks English--so that should be fun! She's going to work in an orphanage, a school, and she's going to help build an orphanage, not to mention one of her "personal" projects is to get a music program started down there. How wonderful is that!?!?

Tori has such a big heart and she wants to bless as many lives as possible. She's been wanting to go to Africa and do service there since she was in high school. Having the opportunity to go to Uganda this summer was a dream come true for her. I am going to miss her this summer, but I know she's doing something that she loves and that the Lord wants her to do--serve others. She is a wonderful/beautiful person and the people of Uganda are going to be blessed by having her there! I love you Tori--be safe and have a great summer!

Graduation day two

So, here are the last photos from graduation--I can't tell you how great it feels to be done with college! I know I'm going to miss it--now I have to grow up and become a real adult, but it's a wonderful accomplishment and it's a good feeling to be done. Now on to the real world....

Bathing Suits

Well, the time has come to find a bathing suit for the summer. I really dislike this time because I can never find a cute one piece and so I end up with a tankini every year and I don't like the way most look on me!

Well, for those of you looking for a cute one piece bathing suit--J Crew or Anthropologie sell ADORABLE ones!!! I am probably going to buy one from either place soon! Love it!
