We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are currently in California enjoying our holiday break. We are having a blast with our family. It has been a wonderful time so far. It is a beautiful time of year to reflect back on everything that has happened over 2007 and to think about what we can do better for next year.
It's wonderful to have a special time of year to be able to focus our attention and thoughts on our Savior and his birth and life. I am personally grateful for my Savior and for His wonderful atonement which gives me the opportunity to grow and be better and to, one day, return to live with Him and my family. I am grateful for the Gospel and for the peace and joy it brings to me. I love this time of year and I hope to carry these feelings with me always. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!!!

Okay, so this has been a really busy weekend, and so I am a couple of days late getting a birthday shout-out done for Josh, but here it is now!

Josh is the most amazing person I have ever met. He is one of the sweetest, most humble, most kind, and loving person I have ever known. He is soooooooo smart, and he is very talented. He is a really hard worker and it seems that everything he touches turns to gold. I love how talented he is, and how hard he works at everything he does.
He and I have been together for almost four years now. It's been such a fun adventure!!! We've been married for over two years, and it's been the most amazing two years EVER!!!
I am so lucky and so blessed to have him for my companion. He's amazing! Happy birthday Josh. I love you!

Fun in the Snow!!!

On Friday night Josh and I drove around Provo and looked at Christmas lights before hanging out with our friends. It's a tradition that started in my family when I was younger--we would go look at Christmas lights every year and pick our favorites. So, Josh and I have done the same thing for three Christmas's now...It's fun. Here are some of our favorites. Then on Saturday, Josh and I went snowskating for a little bit. It's like snowboarding but without the bindings. We had just had a huge snowstorm that day, so it was perfect timing.

As you can see from the previous picture, I was a little scared on my first run. I forgot how unstable the snowskate can be. The following pictures further prove my point....

All around, good times!!! The last picture is hilarious because it was literally as I face-planted in the snow...It shows chunks of snow flying through the air....hilarious....

It's Finals time!!!

So Josh has his first final tomorrow!!!! AHHH!!!!! Wish him luck!! Then he has two more next week. I have all five starting next week.....I have to get them all done in three days so wish me luck too!!! AHHHH!!!! Other than that, we're having a great time. This is a super fun semester with all of the interviews that Josh did (and all the traveling he did with that), all the fun we had with our friends the Well's and the Adlong's, and all of the other great things...We're really excited about Christmas break--NO CLASSES TO WORRY ABOUT!!! It should be really fun. We're heading down to California for that, so it willbe nice and warm! Okay, well I'm off to class and to study for the rest of the night...Have fun!
