TAGGED!!!

Tagged!
Katie has tagged me, and it has taken me a couple of days to realize it, but that's okay! I'm here and ready to do it....Here it goes.....6 crazy things about me:
1. I can watch "Pride and Prejudice" a million and a half times and never get bored of it. I have most of the movie memorized now...It's pretty sad...I get made fun a lot for it from Josh, but that's okay...
2. I like to go and do fun things--and neglect work and school. This might not strange that strange, but it is strange that I will always be willing to put off having to do something--school and work--and go and have fun. Josh is the same way, most of the time, and I love it. We always know that we can let some things go to have fun. To some people that may be strange, but to us, it's a good thing.
3. I hate winter. The only thing good about the winter time is Christmas and the occasional snowfall. I HATE COLD WEATHER!!!! It drives me nuts. I get so sad in the winter time. I can't stand it!! I need warmth and the sun to be happy....Is that strange that I really do get sad in the winter time?
4. I like the Spice Girls: Haha--this is kind-of a joke, but not really. I really love their song WANNA BE and always have. I could always listen to it, not that I do, but I could. I made it one of the theme songs for the girls track team in high school. At that point the song was already like 7 years old....That's okay though--love that song. Yeah, that is something crazy about me!!!
5. I love to go shopping. I could go shopping at any time for any reason. I don't even care if I'm shopping for me or someone else--I just LOVE IT!!! Josh definitely thinks it's something CRAZY about me!!!!
6. I'm out of crazy things about me--haha that's probably not true. I can be pretty crazy sometimes. I guess the craziest thing about me--the thing that Josh gives me the hardest time about, is the fact that I look at People.com. I know, it is crazy, but I can't help it. It's just something fun to do for a few minutes a day...I need to stop though. It makes me vain.
Okay, there you go--6 crazy things about me....Now, I would tag 6 more people and make them do this, but all of my friends have already been tagged. Seriously, there's no one else for me to tag, and if I tag the same people again, then they would not be happy with me. So, sorry I can't pass this on!

September 28, 2007 CAMPING

So it's official. Kiera has been camping TWICE now in her life! It's pretty exciting news. Our friends, the Adlong's (Robin and Daniel) and the Well's (Jessica and Parker) and us (Josh and Kiera--haha) went camping a few weekends ago. It was a blast. We went to Diamond Fork Canyon which is just east of Spanish Fork. It was great because it was only 20-30 minutes away from home.

We made foil dinners before we left and they were AMAZING! Parker was really prepared for this trip. He supplied us with the tent, the fire wood, most of the snacks, and anything else that you can think of that you would need on a camping trip.

Anyways, we had a blast. The first thing we did we we got there was find the food and start snacking. HAHA! Then, the night warden came by and told us about the bears in the area--that always makes you feel better about your safety. The boys weren't worried though, so that made it a little bit easier.
Anyways, we "set up camp", made a fire, and went down to the nearby river--Parker is a big fishing guy. Then we ate dinner, hung out and talked for a while, and just enjoyed the area. Oh, and of course we made S'Mores.

It was great that the Well's brought the one big tent because it was so fun all sleeping in the same tent. We have some funny stories from that experience--all are appropriate, but it'd be too hard to fit them all in here.

Anyways, the next morning we were up by 6:30am. I didn't sleep well or, basically, at all! HAHA! That's all right though because I was having a blast. It was great for Josh too because it was a nice break from all of his school stuff and interview stuff he's been doing lately.

The next morning after breakfast, we went "hiking"--basically it was glorified walking. Parker fished for a little bit and the rest of us went exploring.

After our hike, we packed everything up and got ready to head home. It was starting to rain a little bit, so it was a good time to leave!

We got home around 11am, unloaded everything, and just hung out the rest of the day. That night, Josh and I went and got massages because I thought we deserved it after a "rough" night camping--haha! It was a lot of fun!

October 2, 2007

'Tis the season for interviews.
Here's a weekly update: Josh is in the middle of a million callback interviews. He has flown to Kansas City, we drove to California, he just got back from Chicago and he's in California right now for interviews. He gets home on Wednesday night, and then we both leave again on Friday to fly out to California AGAIN for even more interviews. Next week he's back in California for a FOURTH time to do more callback interviews and then he flies to Arizona to do a couple of callback interviews there. My oh my oh my! He is a busy busy boy. I miss him so much! It's all right though because this is for our future and we are so excited about all of the many potential job opportunities. It's a great time in our lives and we're having a blast!
